Braggin' rights: DeSoto holds off Mirimar (Fla.) in OT, 42-41

DESOTO – In a shootout worthy of a pair of state-ranked teams, DeSoto held on for a 42-41 overtime victory in overtime after Miramar (Fla.) went for a dramatic win with a two-point conversion try in the first overtime possessions. A pass attempt to the back of the end zone was caught out of bounds.
