DESOTO – As much as classmates and alumni want to make the Skyline-DeSoto matchup a rivalry game, DeSoto coach Claude Mathis and his team just don't see it.

"As far as a rivalry thing, we don't really think about it like that," DeSoto quarterback Ryan Polite said. "Last year, we knew a couple of [Skyline's players], but this year, we don't really know any of them. It's just another game."
