Duncanville hires Flower Mound Marcus coach Henderson to lead boys basketball team

Duncanville, TX - Duncanville has enlisted a four-time state championship coach and given him the task of returning its boys basketball program to state and national prominence.  Danny Henderson, who has guided Flower Mound Marcus to three consecutive Class 5A state titles, was introduced May 11 as the new head coach of Duncanville, which lost to Marcus in the playoffs the past three seasons.

Grand Prairie, TX - A Cedar Hill High School senior died from injuries he suffered in a car wreck early Saturday in Grand Prairie.  The wreck occurred about 5:40 a.m. on westbound Interstate 20 at Carrier Parkway.
